How is this different from the 80 year old who shot guys running away and got jammed up? A buttock shot seems like clear evidence that the (unarmed) man was retreating. Not that I am taking the trespasser's side, but these stories seem to be the same with different outcomes. This one is better.

Channel 6 had more to say.

"Police are still investigating the homeowner to determine if she had a license to carry and if the shooting was justified.

"That's part of the ongoing investigation. We are still in the preliminary stages," said Cpl. Jeff Hale of the Delaware State Police."

It is quite possible he was attacking her son, for example. His back was towards her when she shot.

They could be considering his thigh; and or hips; his buttock.
