Re: Security Military Depot, Indiana PA
Well, I dont know if he has one. Last time I was there he definitely didnt. Just had a couple Yugos. However, if you ask he will look for one and snatch it up so he can sell it to you. His business is to do business. Hes not like one of the bigger dealers who says "tough shit"

Re: Security Military Depot, Indiana PA
Been there, done that.Tim Jevicky is too layed back(read lazy) for me.He would rather listen to Rush Limbaugh's propaganda then pay attention to a customer.

Re: Security Military Depot, Indiana PA
While Tim enjoys listening to political commentary, in all of the 15+ years I have dealt with him, I have never seen him ignore a single customer, never.
He usually lets a guy browse a few mins before asking "do you guys need anything?". Not lazy IMO, just aware that most people do not enjoy having a salesperson breathing down their neck like a vulture.
If you were there when he had 10 guys in there and it seemed that you were not treated as you expected to be treated, then sorry bout your hurt feelings... but you are by far in the minority with that opinion. I highly doubt you were ignored, unless you wanted to be, as in one of those "no thanks I'm just looking" guys.
Just because you don't like a guys political views, I see no need in personally insulting a man.

Re: Security Military Depot, Indiana PA
Just got back from Tims, picked up some ammo.
He has Romanian AK's starting at $419, an M1 Carbine as well as a Garand were on the rack, Marlin 336 for $259, some Glocks, ect.... piles of Nagant rifles starting at around +/- $100.
Well stocked on Sagias, pistol grip ones, 7.62X39 and .223, a few 12ga ones.
ARs, different brands, Stag, Ruger..... Saw a FAL, semi auto shotgun...

Re: Security Military Depot, Indiana PA
In over 15 years of shopping there and easily between $12,000 and $15,000 spent there, I must say that your experience quoted above is the exception rather than the rule.
I will admit that I have no time for Limbaugh or Hannity spewage, but Tim has always been fair and customer-focused, first-come, first-served. In any one-man shop you might have to wait while a PICS check is in process, but on a Saturday if Tim Jr is there hanging out he is just as helpful. I usually stop at SMD on the way back from the PGCA sauna in Greensburg, and I'll rather wait and buy something from Tim than spend the $$$ with a dealer at the show if I know Tim's got it, and even if it's priced slightly higher. Tim's the kind of guy two whom you WANT to give your business.
