Timney AR trigger
so i finally broke down and bout a drop in timney trigger for My M4.
The trigger is easy to install and does just drops in the whole process took about 15-20 mins
removed the grip detent spring and detent, removed the selector, removed the hammer and trigger via the 2 roll pins, Dropped in the timney, put the selector in, hammer roll pin , trigger roll pin, tightened the 2 allen screws on the timney untill they were tight, put the detent , spring and grip back on an was done after a safety check.
the trigger is very light and very crisp and has no creep.
it has a very short reset which made rapid fire extreamly fast.
The timney is quite a bit of money around 200 dollars but i really like it so i can live with what i paid for it

Re: Timney AR trigger
Did you take it to the range yet? Let us know how it performs on the range. I have RRA triggers in my ARs. I also had a JP as well. I'd like to get a Jewell, but I saw they went up in price...along with everything else.

Re: Timney AR trigger
went out to the range today cause i got off work early (sorry no pics) man was it chilly
150 rounds on the trigger with no problems, 3 shot groups at 25 yards were very small compared to the factory trigger which was very heavy and was not broken in yet.
wolf 55grain groups were within a 50 cent piece
lake city 65 grain 02 headstamp were within a quarter.
i would really like to try some match bullets and a scope out far my front sight pin is the same size as the target when looking at it out at 200 yards I hit the target but they were all over the center of the target
im not a big fan of bumping. but it makes it very easy (at hip and shoulder) i had to try it
sorry i have no trigger gauge to measure how many pounds it is breaking but im sure its between two and a half, three and a half pounds
It is very crisp when it breaks..... no travel at all
im am very happy with it and may get another for the ar pistol
