Frequently? Hmm, I travel home, often late at night. I haven't been pulled over in 30+ years. How's your driving? I mean, are you aggressive? Speed? See where I am going here?

Cop: Why didn't you tell me you had a gun?

    Citizen: You didn't ask.

True that. And, as it has been said, you don't have to TELL THE PD in a open manner..

YOU DO HAVE TO tell if ASKED, which is Standard Operating Procedure for any Officer...

SO....UNTILL you hear the phrase "SIR, DO YOU HAVE ANY WEAPONS INTHE VEHICLE?"......

    Keep you pie hole shut...

Sez who YOU DO HAVE TO tell? They can ask you anything under the sun; your blood type, where you're going, where you been, have you ever slept with your sister/brother/whatever. You have the RIGHT to remain silent and not answer anything not germane to the reason for the traffic stop.

If you have a LTCF, you're not doing anything wrong or illegal, so there's no need to mention it.

Don't tell them anything they have not asked.

I agree with others, you need to find a better storage solution if that holster is blocking your window crank.

I've put mine in the center console...concealed and secure.

I haven't stopped for in about 5 years, but, before that I stopped every now and then.

If being stopped as I am pulling over I open the drivers window (how much I open it depends on the weather) and sit erect while waiting for the LEO to approach the window. When the LEO is at the car I will keep my hands in plain view at all times.

If asked THE question do you know why I stopped you? I will answer I have no idea why I was pulled over. When asked I provide documentation I will give the officer what documentation he asks for, and I will answer all questions in a business like manner.

If given a ticket I will sign it and wish the officer a good evening. I WILL be seeing him again court.

I remember reading somewhere where someone farted near a cop and got arrested, cant remember where I saw it. If you did it Frenchy a SWAT team would be called and you would get to go to GITMO for vacation, biological weapon and all
