IPad and embedded videos

Does anyone else have the issue where embedded videos do not appear on an IPad?

Once in a great while they will show up but most times there is just white space where the video should be. If I tap the center of the white space the video will play but all I get is the audio portion. Most times I need to hit reply and copy the Youtube link and then paste it into a Youtube search in order to watch.

My Apple Air Ipad will not accept a link or a video that was sent from somebody using Adobe Flash Player. It does not have an app for that. Perhaps that is why you have this problem, but I don't know which make you have.

I do sometimes, but usually, if you tap on the blank spot where the video should be, it will appear and play for me.

Problem went away with IOS 8
