Backwoods Outfitters in Columbia and Collectors Gun Shop in Lancaster each have one.

Re: VP9 availability???
I held one yesterday at Tanners. I called that morning and they had 3 that just came in. Was there by 1 pm and they were already gone/spoken for. However, they did let me hold one just so I could get a sense of what it feels like and the new striker trigger. Very nice.
Is it nicer than a p30? In my opinion, no.
If I was new to striker fired pistols and was in the market for one I would definitely pick it up but I already have a glock 19 and that is my striker fired pistol of choice. Oh who am I kidding? I'll probably get one anyway...
However, if they come out with a vp9 compact I'll be picking one up for sure. Now less Glock, more H&K :)

Re: VP9 availability???
my thoughts exactly! I just dont know if I can hold out long enough before they do and then I'll end up with both. I'm reasonably certain they will, I just hope its a compact not a subcompact. I'm debating between PPQ or VP9 for my next gun, but I have yet to find a VP9 to play with.

Re: VP9 availability???
Eastern arms and outfitters in albrightsville initially received 5 of them, all sold the same day, they then got another 3 in, one was gone same day, one I purchased the next day, and the other went on gunbroker. Chris (the owner of The armory in Brodheadsville) called me today to let me know he got one in today. (I had asked him to let me know if he got one in.

Re: VP9 availability???
CDNN has them for sale for $599.
If my local dealers fail to come up with them by the end of August, I'll just buy online and have it shipped to the FFL.

Re: VP9 availability???
I have one on pre-order from an HKPRO vendor, but I bought a second one from HK specialist, it arrived this past Monday.
So far, I have about 350 rounds through it, and it's fantastic. I'm going to do a video on it tomorrow.
There are plenty of videos on the pistol in terms of features, i.e. charging ears, luminescent sights, etc.
The trigger is really good. I would say that it's very close to my HK Expert 9's match trigger. The take up is smooth and short, the break is clean, and the reset is about the same as my match trigger in single action.
The VP9 trigger take up/reset is not as good as my P7 (slightly longer take up, slightly longer rest), but a P7 trigger is pretty amazing.
The build quality is very good. This is definitely a winner for HK. The recoil impulse feels very much like my Expert 9 which is larger and has a hand fit barrel/slide.
You're going to want to get one asap.
