Default I need a gun reblued...

I have an ancient marlin .22 bolt gun that works and shoots fine. Gonna use it to teach my boys to shoot. Problem is, its got no finish on the metal. Stock is decent so I just want a basic, affordable job done. Any suggestions in the southeast corner?

Dura coat shake and spray around 50.00 if you do it. Bluing is getting $$$ You will pay 2-300 if you can find someone.

    Two of these should work:

    First use this:

Then use this to remove the rest of the bluing:

I find it best to use a cleaning patch for a 12 gauge. Also wear a pair of latex gloves when working with this stuff. Since it's a gun your looking for a cheap finish on, You can't get cheaper than doing it yourself.

I've done some touch up on some non-collectible guns with Oxpho-blue to good results. IraqVeteran8888 did a video shooing him entirely redoing a gun with it too.

    That would be my suggestion.
