    Thumbs up Boxers

I know, it,s gonna seem deceiving. Found a little old school bar in Huntington that has great food (sandwiches ext.). Had a fish sandwich and a couple of Guinness and was enjoying the surroundings. People are so much fun to watch when the bar tender came over and softly asked of if my back pocket had a xDs in it. I politely responded no it is the new glock 42. He asked a few questions about it and was glad to get the input. As I was leaving I thanked him for the good food and hospitality and asked if we could come back and enjoy again. He said always as that's why they are there. I just found my new out of town hangout for the next couple of weeks. I recommend this place for any in the area or passing thru.

Good encounter, but you may want to rethink your carry method. If people can see the gun in your back pocket, you're offering it to anybody who wants to take it.

So, boxers is the name of the establishment you went to. I thought you were asking how to conceal in your undershorts.

I'll apologize for markshere2; he forgot that for our Eastern PA friends, going west PA ends at the Susquehanna River.

Now, what I can't figure out is what his preferred style of undies has to do with the thread opener?

Yes boxers is the name of the bar. Sorry for any typo,s I am using a phone here. Fat fingers and small buttons you know. And yes normally I would agree with the thought that a gun that can be seen in your back pocket leaves you open to having it taken. But to clarify the gun wasn,t what was visible the top of the pocket holster was. Personally I think it would be harder to get from the pocket than from my hip. To each his own I guess. I just thought it was interesting how good the bar tenders situational awareness was and the fact they were not alarmed by it,s presence.

Though with a "t" it may be in West Virginia.

Boxers is a cool little place, kind of a dive but good food and a decent beer selection. Good place to stop if your near Raystown Lake.
