Default Here's one for our FFL law experts

I had to update my Senior Hunting License to and get new tags. The most convenient place to do it was at the Walmart in Sayre. Getting the new tags was painless, but I noticed a sign on the sporting goods counter that confused me (of course the question I asked confused the clerk also). The sign read FEDERL LAW FORBIDS THE SALE OF FIREARMS TO RESIDENTS OF NY, CT, MD.... and several other not so friendly states.

So the question now.. IS this true? Has federal law changed again and the interstate sales no longer legal from an FFL to certain states? Or is this just Walmart hiding and refusing to do their homework?

Total BS. Maybe the sign should have read "FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS THE SALE OF CERTAIN FIREARMS TO RESIDENTS OF NY, CT, MD..
