Another awesome match, thanks Kerry! Turned out to be quite the great day despite what the morning looked like. Great fun, great learning as always.

Re: July NHRPC 2-Gun
The series points standings have been calculated for the first 3 matches. Remember everyone will drop their lowest scoring match after match 5, this is just where we are as of now. Also as it states in the rule book points do not transfer between divisions, I've done my best during signups to catch anyone who may have made a mistake and entered the wrong division but, it is the shooters responsibility to ensure you sign up for the right division.
Anyway here are the points as they stand now.

Re: July NHRPC 2-Gun
I really hope this will be done again next year! What can we do to help see to it that it becomes a regular recurring series?

Re: July NHRPC 2-Gun
With any shooting event, the best ways to make sure they continue are:
Volunteer to help set up - and show up EARLY. The people running the match are usually there 30-60 minutes before the published setup time to unlock things.
Stay around and help tear down.
Help run the match itself, SO shooters, paste targets, make sure things flow safely and smoothly.
Provide feedback, if positive - great, if negative - recommendations on how to fix it, and you should be willing to be the one to make/run with those changes. Just saying "this sucked" is a quick way to drain match staff moral or piss them off if you are complaining but weren't there for setup or willing to deal with the change.
Let the hosting club know that you enjoy the program and it should continue. Even better if you are a member of the hosting club. Remember that when matches are run, the ranges are shut down for the general club membership.
Design stages and send them over to the match director. Don't be hurt if they aren't used or are heavily modified in order to balance the match.
Offer to build additional props if they are needed.
Be willing to step up and run matches yourself. Sometimes the match/program director cant be there, if there is no staff to run it the match doesn't happen. Sometimes life gets in the way and staff cant dedicate the time to run matches, if there is no one to step up - the program dies off.

Re: July NHRPC 2-Gun
that sums it up pretty well.
we have been steadily gaining volunteers for set up and tear down which has been encouraging.
Where we are running short is with ROs, we as a community can't expect the same folks to do all of that work at every match.
If we want to keep this going we need folks willing to step up and be willing to take the timer.
