Default Good NRA competition pistol training?

I took my wife to the range this week. Not trying to brag but I was extremely impressed with her shooting skills. She was hitting solid groups at 65ft open sight with a pf9 which was way better than me. She never missed the target out of every gun she touched many she never shot before. She has 0 training or knowledge about firearms. She enjoyed it so much and I was so impressed I suggested to maybe get into NRA shooting competitions. Anyone have any info or recommended courses for this. Anyone willing to give some lessons near mercer/butler county? I know nothing about competitive shooting other than accuracy competitions so any help would be greatly appreciated. Shes a 5 star pastry chef so we will hook you up if someone would be willing to give a few basic lessons.

So, you want to pay for professional training with pastry? Really? You might have better luck with Craig's List than this forum.
You can never have enough horsepower or ammunition.

Actually, that's quite good! I prefer the chocolate Hi Point, though.

No we will pay whatever within reason. I understand travel and time = money. But money + a few pies makes the day a lot more fun.

I am not a member at the New Castle club but I have shot in sectional matches there. Super nice folks and some VERY good shooters there. Here is a link to the club. I think they shoot conventional pistol matches about every week. If it is not too far, you may want to contact them. Hope this helps.

You're welcome and I hope you find that club as outstanding as I did. Likewise if you are ever in the Clearfield area and want to shoot, drop me a PM. I have my own little range so I know you can shoot there for free although a donation of a shared baked good is always welcome!
