XD needs work. looking for gunsmith

Thanks to a really big screw up on .y part, I am in need of someone that is competent at working on an XD. I have it pretty messed up right now. My career as a gunsmith is not going well. Prefer to find someone local before I have to send it away. Any suggestions?

I'm sorry to say. But I messed my pistol up big time. I may end up sending it back to Springfield, and I'm not even sure they will be able to fix it without a lot of trouble. Looking for someone with experiance in dealing with XD's.

Admitting you did wrong is half the guilt gone, let it all out, show us pictures, we KNOW you have a camera somewhere!

Nothing really to see.

I was trying to put a upgraded trigger group in it made by Spring Precision. Thought I had it all together right. The video said that I should be able to
pull the trigger at this time.

I couldn't. Then I thought I knew why. I put the top rail on and racked the slide to "cock it" thinking that was why I couldn't pull the trigger.

Well, that wasn't it. And NOW... to get the slide back off of an XD, you have to pull the trigger first. AND I CAN'T PULL THE TRIGGER!!!! So, my slide is stuck in place and won't come back off for me to get to whatever is wrong with it.

If I showed you a pic, it would just be of the gun looking "normal". Sorry to disappoint you all.

Look near the end, where he "Picks" the sear to free it, like using the trigger but from the rear of the slide.
