Default Anyone notice what is not on the list ?

    Silly people.
Someone is going to be taken to the woodshed for not adding the other one just on principle.

I'm glad they now feel competitive shooting is a safe sport for kids to engage in.

How did the wimpy liberals also forget to add in the Martial Arts ?

You don't get it yet. Guns are not sports, they are sick, twisted obsessions to be feared and demonized with the people that have anything to do with them needing psychoanalyzed. Calling any activity involving them a sport would go too far toward normalizing them.

c.f. George Carlin on use of the word "sport". That's why gun play didn't make the list.

I opened it expecting the lefties to leave soccer off the list because they can't stop pushing it in our faces hoping we're suddenly going to fall in love with the most boring sport on the face of the Earth.

I guarantee there are fewer injuries in shooting events than sporting events with balls, bats, sticks or swimming pools.

Hold on there, missy. I shoot all kinds of stuff for sport.

BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.

I think shooting sports would be on the list of 11 most dangerous sports as measured by number of ER visit IF there were 20,491 ER visits related to it.

Non inline skating? That mean the old 70s roller disco skates? (Who remembers Xanadu?). Do they even make those anymore? What the hell kind of sport are they used in?!

Does getting your ass beat on the way to the rink count as a skating related injury?

I want to know what sort of injuries swimmers are getting into. What are the running into the end of the pool, or diving in the shallow end? Or just getting pulled muscles?

I think it would be better to break down the types of injuries and the level of severity. I would imagine the kinds of injuries a football player is experiencing tends to be worst than a baseball player generally.

Kids still should be encouraged to partake in this activities. I think simply putting this information out without a disclaimer does the subject injustice. The last thing we need to do is throw our kids into safety bubbles and then release them into the world when they hit 18 like this.
