The Sales Database
If you buy a handgun from a private party and transfer it at an FFL as per law, does that end up in the "sales database" or is that reserved only for handguns you actually purchase from an FFL?
Thanks,
F

Re: The Sales Database
Yes.
In reality the seller is not transferring the gun directly to you. He transfers it to the FFL, and then the FFL transfers it to you.
Even at a Sheriff where the Sheriff acts as the seller(even for private to private), that same form is used. ....the SP4-113.RIP: SFN, 1861, twoeggsup, Lambo, jamesjo, JayBell, 32 Magnum, Pro2A, mrwildroot, dregan, Frenchy, Fragger, ungawa, Mtn Jack, Grapeshot, R.W.J., PennsyPlinker, Statkowski, Deanimator, roland, aubie515
Don't end up in my signature!
