Re: holster cant
I keep mine just one 'notch' off of center (end of barrel slightly back, butt slightly forward). As far as draw, it's not a big deal at the range, etc., but I quickly discovered that this choice allowed the most comfortable position for sitting (especially in a vehicle) and still having my firearm readily available for draw while in that position.

Re: holster cant
I have mine slightly canted forward also. It is far more comfortable and does allow sitting and standing with little to no impairment of movement. Not to mention some forward cant will help with conceal ability when in CC mode.

Re: holster cant
I prefer straight drop (e.g. no cant) .

Re: holster cant
I like a straight drop, I can get a better grip on the gun. Though neither of the holster I have for my SP101 are so equipped. Guess I'll need to get another

Re: holster cant
When I had my youthful slender boyish figure I liked holsters with zero cant or the straight drop.
Over the years of eating many more meals and "dunlap" setting in I now prefer something with a little cant, well a hell of a lot of cant for comfort.

Re: holster cant
i use a pretty good amount of cant. it helps to conceal the grip of the gun better...especially when you bend over.
it is harder to get a good grip on the gun than with a straight drop, though. you have to really angle your wrist.
it's a tradeoff.

Re: holster cant
Canted forward.
It's not as easy to draw from, but if I kept it straight, there is no way I could sit in a vehicle because the grip would be pushing into the back of the seat.
Where I have it now, it touches the seat, but it's not pushing against the gun.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!
