    Default Gen. 4 Glocks

I know there were problems with them in the beginning, but has Glock worked out all the kinks with the new Gen 4 line? Anybody have any problems with their Gen 4 Glocks that were purchased within the past 2 years? Thank you to all responses!

I have a Gen 4 23 that I ve put a few thousand rounds through and it been flawless. Bought it in the fall of 2012. I think most of the early problems were with 9mm models and their recoil spring. At first all 40 and 9 models had the same spring but I believe Glock started putting lighter springs in the 9mm models after the first year or so and as far as I can tell it seems to have fixed the early issues.

Yes, I think they issues were spring related. They've changed the springs and it only effected the G19 if I'm not mistaken.

Only the early gen 4 19s were prone to this. I have an early 19 with original spring and it has been great. I own 5 Gen 4 pistols and all have been flawless.

I never was a fan of glock until I held a gen 4. Maybe because I'm a lefty and I like the new texture.

Thanks for the info! I'm considering either a Glock 32 or the new, compact Sig P320....whenever it comes out. Right now I'm leaning towards the G32 because I'm afraid of buying a brand new pistol model. The last thing I want is to have to send it away for a recall.
