Somebody needs to explain to this guy what the difference between "articulate" and "articulable" is.

Without knowing the intricacies of IN law, it's hard for me to make any concrete statements about this one. I liked the backward hat though.

What a load of crap that officer had no need or reason to even bother. Does that mean if I see an officer walking around with his firearm I should call other police officers to make sure he's Ok. I mean just because he's an officer doesn't mean I feel safe with him having a firearm in public.

The backward hat was for the break dancing contest he was heading to while not doing his job.

Why they are at it they can explain that probable cause is not needed to detain someone.

Indiana has a similar law to Philadelphia... permit is required to possess a firearm from what I am reading. It makes no differentiation between concealment and non-concealment... just "possession" of a handgun is illegal without a permit.

Yes and thanks to George W and his Hench man Dick Chaney you don't need a warrant to tap a phone, or read e-mail or so many other things. Soon there will be no rights left in this country, but the sheep will all feel safe.

23 years in the business and he doesn't know the gun laws or the disgrace of the uniform by wearing his hat backwards.

Depending on the laws there, If ignorance of the law is no excuse for the citizens, then it sure as hell no excuse for law enforcers. Hope he files a complaint, but I doubt it.

Actually, sadly, in most cases law enforcement officials are NOT liable for not knowing the law. You are correct that we, the sheep, are not protected for not knowing the law.

The cop looks like Dog's Brother from Dog the bounty hunter, probably has a tear gas squirt gun that looks like a tactical rifle too, lol.
