A friend was home invaded and shot

I've been in active here for quite some time, but I came out of retirement to make this post because I feel this is pretty damn important, because as far as on here.....it rarely happens (thank goodness)

Now...mind you, I dont have the full story yet...but... One of my girlfriends in Johnstown just had her home invaded. Two men, one she knew, one she didn't. They came to rob her, blasted through her wall with a shot gun. A handful of pellets hit her in the arm and chest.

Then theres a blank of information. (no idea what happened after that)

And I know now they are in jail and shes alright, despite being in pain. She posted pics on facebook. I'm not going to put them up here, they arent mine to do. But its pretty much what you'd expect. Holes in the wall and her skin is pelted and swollen around the wounds.

I THINK she has a gun, but says she felt that if she would have defended herself, it would have been worse. I dont know any more than that.....I didnt pry and I didnt get a chance to sit down and speak with her yet. I'll probably see her within the next couple weeks so maybe I'll find out then if she feels like talking about it.

So yeah, this shit does happen for real.

I have no idea...I wasnt there, and I wasnt about to argue with someone who just went through a very traumatizing event. Things ended about as well as one could hope for.
