    hello, aquired a colt 357 magnum python, trying to figure out the value. its in good condition, slight damage to the grip. any help would be great-thanks

    Barrel length, blued, nickel, stainless or bright stainless finish will all play a part in pricing. Original stocks, box, paper work and sights will also affect price.
    Try a search on gunbroker.com for Colt Python to get an idea of the price ranges.
    You could also look on Coltforum.com, Python pricing is a popular topic there.
    If you can, post a couple of pictures, it will help in determining exactly what you have.

    As mentioned above.

    They go for $400 to $2500 at online auctions.

    I had mine appraised before I traded it, a 8" Royal Blue in 97-99% = $1500-1800.
