    Default Spare Mag/s

New OC'er here. I can't find anything that states I cannot conceal a spare mag/s....but if an OC'er is carrying extra magazines do they also have to displayed openly?

    Thank you

You can most certainly carry an extra mag and I highly suggest it. Mags can be carried concealed or open.

suggestion. most knife cases are constructed well. it is easy to find one to fit a standard mag.

Provided you are talking about PA and not MD, for the purposes of carrying with a loaded firearm, there are no laws governing how magazines are to be carried.

Yes, I saw his location too. Are you actually OCing in MD??? I thought such things were strictly verboten.

Since you are from MD just an FYI about Philly:

    - OC in Philly requires PA LTCF or permit from another state with RECIPROCITY, and Philly cops may hassle people and don't know the law very well.

    - Possession of knives in public is generally illegal in Philly

Thank you for the info....I've seen that mentioned several times and don't plan on visiting Philly any time soon.

Yes I'm from Maryland and no I do not open carry in Maryland...wait....I do but I'm not allowed off of my front steps. I frequent southern pa, york county, property shopping and concealed carried on my Utah permit until.....you know the rest of the story.

I printed out the fliers...read everything I could on open carry until I was blind...I have an open carry holster, recorder, and several other recommended items. I've already open carried once already and it was uneventful.

After all of my research was completed and the fog cleared I didn't recall seeing any information regarding how to carry spare magazines, which I plan on doing, while open carrying in PA when I visit.

There is only 1 criteria (criterium?) for properly carrying spare mags in PA: LOADED. Anything else is just details.
