Day one was a great day for a walk on cornflakes, I couldn't sneak up on a deaf man if I had to. Hope withthe rain coming it quiets the forest floor. I'll be after them on Monday. Anyone have any luck?

No luck here. As expected, all the bears we saw this summer were no where to be found come November. No one around us fared any better.

Had 8 guys out in Pike county yesterday, My brother was able to take a 150 pound female (sow?). I will get pics up as soon as he sends them to me, I don't take electronics into the woods.

    No luck in 2F.

Saw fresh tacks Saturday, and hunted that area for 3 days with no bear seen.

Hunted another area today and saw where they had been feeding, but again no bears.

Good time being in the woods with my old friend.

    Saw some deer,but not many.

I had one pic of a plus or minus 200lber on a cam last month so I have a tag for incidental contact when I get back out there this Friday.

No shooter deer or otherwise as of yet. So close to some turkey last Saturday on Turkey finale though!
