Default Help ID this single shot?

Hey guys, picked this up at a yard sale relatively cheap, was wondering if anyone has any idea who made it. Only Marking it has says "Leader" on the top of the barrel but a google search didn't help much. I've never really seen a single shot open like this one does so I thought it was cool. As you can see in the picture it opens with your trigger finger when you pull back on that loop inside the trigger guard. Any help would be great!

Looks like C.S. Shattuck Arms Co., Hatfield, Mass. (1878 to 1908). Leader was a trade brand name much as some guns were relabeled when sold through Sears or Montgomery Ward.

If I'm wrong, check out Iver Johnson and Crescent Arms.

I have no idea what it is, just wanted to say that's a pretty cool gun. Any idea what choke and gauge it is?

What were they thinking about when they designed the opening mechanism inside the trigger guard!!! I can see it now......ducks and deer are running around, you aim and pull the trigger, and the action opens.............

    Still a cool shotgun!

Not to mention being a single shot I bet every-time a duck is running around you have a slug in the chamber and vice versa.

I have an old Shattucks also but mine has an odd side lever release. Here is a photo of a similar one I found online.

I am assuming no choke and a 12 gauge.
