Default Glock 42 owners - holster options

Just got a new G 42...was curious what members here are using to conceal it with. After seeing some reviews on the gun, I wasn't sure how small it was, But after getting my hands on it, I am surprised at just how small it is...would be easily concealable in a pocket holster. Just wanted to see what you guys are using. Thanks.

Don't have it yet, but this is what I'll be getting for my wife's 42 to start out with.

How does your wife like it? I bought it for my mother and we shot it today...crazy how minimal the recoil is and very accurate to boot...great gun.

Uncle Mikes #3 for smaller pockets, DeSantis Super Fly for larger ones. This easily carries as a pocket gun, no need for an IWB carry IMO. BTW after a break-in period of a few hundred rounds the 42 has been flawless.

Haven't seen one yet in the flesh. How does it compare size-wise to the Kahr .380?

    Thanks,
    Matt

I was under the impression the 42 was along the same size of the Shield or LC9 which is on the larger your pushing it end of the pocket carry pistols.

I carry a 9MM Shield when I go CC I use a Contact Concealment AP holster, they are a bit pricier then some others but after trying 5 different holsters for the Shield and 3 for a G19 this one is the most comfortable in both pistols for me.

I have a Shield and the 42 is smaller than the shield...I was really shocked at how small it was. I think it easily could be a pocket pistol. my LGS just got 3 of them in and I am guessing he will have no problem getting rid of them @ $450. It is a ridiculously fun gun to shoot. Could easily be a range gun unlike most small 380's. Only downside is how expensive the ammo is.

Was fishing around in my holster bins and came across a JBP model 045. The G42 fits in it like a glove! The trigger guard drops down and seats like the holster was made for it. I am not an IWB fan - with this holster, gun sits high and tight. Sharing

I just picked up a Raven phantom for my 42. It's very nice, but then again I am also a fan of Raven Concealment.
