Allegheny LTCF issue delays?
I filled out the application for my LTCF permit back in February and have yet to receive any notifications on it. I have a clean record no arrests or charges.
Is there some sort of back log on permits being issued? Granted I did it by email. Should I go down in person and refile would it be any quicker?

Re: Allegheny LTCF issue delays?
I filed my renewal mid-March, and received my yellow-car within two weeks. While the guy at the counter said they were indeed busy (I inquired because I was surprised by how quickly mine was turned around), you probably should have had it by now.
I would call or send an email to find out if there is an issue.
Did muine by email as well, btw.

The wife got hers back in about three weeks...You should check on that

Re: Allegheny LTCF issue delays?
I had the same type of problem in Luzerne County. See: http://forum.pafoa.org/concealed-car...estigated.html
Anyway, after waiting about 70 days, I wrote the Sheriff a polite letter outlining the problem, and asking him if he could have someone check on it. I also mentioned the 45 day PA law.
I sent the letter certified mail, return receipt.
About 5 days later I received a call from a deputy explaining that there was a real bad guy with the same name as me. Seems that the State Police were having a problem going through this guy's long sheet to make sure none of the arrests were me. He said that he had gotten it done, and he would make sure I got my LTCF in the next day or two. And I did.
You might try the same thing.
Good luck

Re: Allegheny LTCF issue delays?
Allegheny County seem to be clicking along. I got my renewal at a bit over 90 days. Submitted my application twice and still have plenty of time to pick up my new one prior to mine expiring.

Re: Allegheny LTCF issue delays?
I applied back in march and I'm still waiting(around 53 business days so far)
If it matters, I moved a few weeks ago and began forwarding my mail to my new place, but still no yellow card at either location.
Do they still send a card if you're denied?
Does the yellow card include the name of applicant?
Is it better to wait a while longer or should I reapply?
Thanks
