    Talking 22-250 Barnes Varmint Grenades

    I have a load worked up pretty close. I am shooting a Howa 1500 Heavy Barrel. I am shooting the 36 gr Barnes Varmint Grenades 38 gr of blc2 powder winchester lg rifle primers. I cant wait to get out chuckin' and see what they really do
    The only easy day was yesterday
    Does anyone know the number for 9-1-1?

    Lol, did you actually get them to group? I have friends that I've shot them with and man those things explode. Most people I know can't get them to stabilize or group, alot of people with precision rifles were having them shoot over 1" groups at 100 yards with rifles that usually group around .5 moa or less. There are a few people I know who have gotten them to group, either way explosive is an understatement for those things. Drop us some photos if you back, lol.

    I use them in my .20 Tactical. No problems with accuracy. I am shooting the 26 grainers.

    Hey,

    Try the 50 grainers in your 22-250. The best groups that I have managed with my .223 is .75" at 100 yards with the 50 grainers. I think that a little work on seating depth is in order.

    I seated the bullets to 2.200 and 2.250. The longer length brought the group down a little. Some more fine tuning should do the trick.

    The grenades are incredibly impressive.
