Default Gunbroker.com rifle with "no papers"

I'm considering buying a hunting rifle from someone on gunbroker.com. I've made online gun purchases before, but never a used gun with "no papers". My question is, will my FFL be able to transfer this rifle without any papers? I don't remember what exactly what he used to do the paperwork in the past.

what kind of paper work are you talking about?

No paper work is needed, the gun gets shipped to FFL, you transfer the gun to you, very simple process

are you saying you had guns from online shipped directly to you in the past?

No, the guns I bought online previously were shipped to my FFL but were brand new and purchased from a shop with an online store. I'm just unclear if my FFL used any "papers" in those transfers.

    Sorry if I wasn't clear.

PA to resident to pa resident is legal, correct? No need for FFL and "paperework".

Do they mean the gun is sold without an owners manual?
That is the only paperwork that came with my new Ruger (other than a pile of advertisement flyers).
You can get those from the manufacturer, probably online.

The receiving FFL needs a copy of the seller's driver's license if it's not coming from an FFL. No other paperwork should be needed.

There is a serial number on the receiver. That number is what the FFL will put on the transfer paperwork. No additional papers are required when the gun is received.

Long guns yes and handguns gifted from immediate family member. I think. Father/grand father/mother/grand mother to son/grandson/daughter/grand daughter.
