Kahr Grip Screws
Hi. I have a K9098N, K9, 2003 Stainless Elite Kahr with the stock slotted head grip screws that always get rusty with summertime carry. I would like to replace the screws with stainless allen, or torx heads. Does anyone know what size these screws are, or where I could get the stainless screws I would need? The Kahr is a great looking little gun, but the slotted screws have always had a lackluster look to them, even more so when they get rusty. Thanks for any help.

Re: Kahr Grip Screws
I don't have an answer for this question, but you might try contacting Kahr Customer Service. They tend to be helpful -- when I lost one of the grip screws, they sent an envelope with replacements to me a week later with no charge.

Re: Kahr Grip Screws
Just picked up my K9 last week. Still breaking it in.
Oh, any other way (besides putting rounds downrange) to lighten and smooth the trigger? I've been dry firing it, didn't know if a "toothpaste job" would work.

Re: Kahr Grip Screws
What year is it, and if its older than 04 is it an elite? If its not an elite, or newer than 04 you can put in the elite trigger. The elite is much nicer. i have shot both.

Re: Kahr Grip Screws
Kahr has the screws, but they are the same screws the gun came with. I have emailed them a couple of times to ask the size and threads of the screws to see if allen or torx heads for another brand of gun will fit and Kahr gives me the same answer each time... "We have the screws for your gun." I guess I'm gonna have to start experimenting with Brownells' screw assortments.
