Default Process for getting a gun transferred from a FFL

i recently bought a gun from topgunsupply and also set up to have it delivered to a FFL who i found on gunbroker.com.....

when i go to pick it up, what will I expect to do in order to transfer the gun from my FFL to me?

    thanks

Your going to need ID. your going to fill out a form 4473 and if it's a hand gun the state form too. the FFL will run you in PICS. if you pass you pay the man the transfer fee and walk out with your gun. It would be nice if you bought something else while in the store.

rwilson summed it up very succinctly. That's are there is to it. Being from Philadelphia, it would be best to buy a case for it (if it doesn't come with one) and lock it in your trunk (with ammo separate from gun) to take it home. Unless you have an LTCF that is.

That has to be one of the easiest Q's I have heard. You can expect to pay the man, fill out your paperwork and leave.

i was in and out within 10 mins. filled out the proper paper work and had my gun with me. i asked because i always buy guns from a dealer and not from someone at gunbroker.com.. since i ordered the gun from a website, i needed a reputable and good FFL with a good price.. i found one and have my new toy!

    thanks for the help
