    Default ALG triggers??

I have 3 AR platforms that I would like to put triggers in. I have 2 ssa triggers and I have 2 Timney triggers.

I don't want to put out the money for three more of those because funds are a little tight at the moment.

So, i wanted to hear from people who have used either of the offerings from ALG. Please let me Know if they are a decent trigger for the money.

Go with the ACT. Probably the best bang for the buck trigger out there. Creep is extremely minimal, break is decent and not too heavy. It is a nicer trigger than the Spikes battle trigger which is at the same price point.(have both)

Do you have any experience with the QMS?

No. From my understanding the only difference between the QMS and ACT is the coating on the ACT. The coating helps to slick up the pull and slightly reduce pull weight.

I have to agree with dkf, the ACT is a great FCG. I have had experience with the Spikes battle trigger and the ACT beats it hands down. For a single stage Milspec FCG its very impressive, smooth pull, crisp break, and good reset. It is obvious its tuned byGeissele. I like my SSA-E's but wish I knew about these sooner.

Plus they are a rounded hammer so you're good to go with a 22 or 9mm upper. It was a no brainer putting one in the lower that's going to be for the kids.

^^^^ Kids may be a misnomer on my part at this point as he will be 23 on his next birthday.

Lol. He is still your kid..... I was actually referring to the point that I put one in one of the lowers for my kids. Plus I'd like to blow through some cheap 22, if I could ever find that again.
