para ord 4 1/2 bbl tactical?

Does anyone have a Para ord in the Shorter Commander style LDA trigger, What is your experience with it?

Does this gun takes regular 1911 Mags or is the Commander style mags different?

Fist of let me say that I love Para Ordinance LTC with a 4.25inch barrel. They are a Canadian company that is well versed in the 1911. Their pistols are cast and not machined or forged. Right now Para holds the world record for the fastest 1,000 rounds fired. Todd Jarret took a Para Ordinance SSP and shot 1,000 error free rounds in 10mins 44seconds. In that very same test they shot 5,000 rounds out of that very same gun error free. Mine is super accurate and super reliable. Do/Have I trusted my life to that pistol, yes I have with full confidence. Would I buy another one, you bet in a heart beat!!!

For those who want to know rumor according to Michael Bane has it that Para is relocating to the US 100% in the near future. That said my PCX-745 has been great for 3,000 rounds. Had a couple of problems early on but Para took care of it in a timely manor. I have had no problems since then.

I have a Para Ord PX745, 5" barrel. I had to send it in due to the front sight being off, but they took care of it and other than that, I am very happy with it. Thinking of getting another Para in a 4.25" barrel next.
