Greensburg Gander Mountain
I had an appointment at the VA in Greensburg this morning, I stopped at Gander Mountain on my way home. They have four Mosin-Nagant 91/30 rifles in the rack for about $175.00 each. I know the price is a little on the high side. They also had one of the cheap Remington rifles with the gray stock used in 3006 for under $250.00 Just passing the information on.

Greensburg Gander Mtg prices are always higher then any other place. Now, on the internet side sometimes you can get a deal.

Re: Greensburg Gander Mountain
Gander Mountain would not be my first stop if looking for anything. However on very rare occasions I have found a deal there.
Sad to say but it seems the days of buying a very nice Mosin Nagant for $80.00 are over.
On-line sales look good up front. Then you add the shipping and the FFL fee a $160.00 rifles now becomes a $200.00 or more rifles.
FFL fees can run from 30 to 50 dollars. I don’t know about GM, However most retailers will give you a major brake on the FFL fee if you buy from them. They do hit you hard if a rifle comes in off the street or mailed too them.
I just ordered a Mosin M44 advertised as in VG condition from J&G sales, Rifle $199.00, shipping $19.00, FFL will be $30.00.
I also checked Buds, A Mosin M44 at $229.00 with supposed Free shipping, as well as the $30.00 FFL fee.
So on-line J&G $248.00. Buds $259.00.

Dunham's occasionally has them on sale.
I forgot how much I missed the slang from the 70's and 80's: "Bite me, dig?"

Long gone are these days. $150 is now a bargain.

Re: Greensburg Gander Mountain
Man I wish it was still the days of $175 mosins being expensive. I'd buy every one I saw at that price.
