New to guns and site:)
Hello Everyone,
I am new to all this stuff with guns. I bought a Charter Arms pink lady .38. Did I make a good choice for my first gun for range shooting and protection? Any info that anyone gives would be great! Thanks so much everyone! Have a great day!

Welcome.
A .38 revolver is a very good choice for a first gun that will also be used for protection. Charter Arms has a reputation for making solid if unrefined guns. Given the short barrel of the Pink Lady, you'll want to find a light practice load so the recoil isn't overly unpleasant.
I recommend you seek out a beginners course on firearms. It's helpful to get a good foundation on safety and responsibility. Welcome to the site and your new love affair with guns! You man a good choice with your first (probably of many) gun purchases. Like others have said look into taking a basic pistol class and feel free to ask any questions you may have. There are a lot of knowledgeable people on here that would gladly help you.
