Threaded Barrels for Glocks
Any suggestions or recommendations between Storm Lake or Lone Wolf? Looking to suppress my 17 and 21, and obviously need a threaded barrel for that.

Re: Threaded Barrels for Glocks
I have a Lone Wolf barrel for my G29. I'm not overly excited about it and I don't believe the accuracy to be as good as the factory barrel. Next time I'm barrel shopping it will be Storm Lake or Bar-Sto. Lone Wolf is about the cheapest out their and I think the overall quality matches the price.

have a lone wolf for my 20sf and while the fit and finish is tight/excellent it almost seems too tight for a glock. i also have accuracy concerns.

So in short, pay a little extra and get the Storm Lake threaded barrels.

Re: Threaded Barrels for Glocks
Yes exactly. Bar Sto or Storm Lake are my only choices. Me and a few friends had issues with Lone Wolf, accuracy, chambering and fit.
There is a reason why they are the cheapest. Spend a little more and get a quality barrel especially when cans and stamps are not cheap.

The Lone Wolf barrel is made somewhere in Asia. The Storm Lake barrel is better quality and made here. KKM also makes a quality barrel and offers threaded barrels.

Re: Threaded Barrels for Glocks
It comes down to budget. If you can afford it, Bar-Sto and KKM would be my first choices followed by storm lake and then lone wolf. Lone Wolf may be the budget option, but that doesn't make them junk as they are great bang for your buck. They are what I consider to be "combat accurate", meaning they do what they're designed to do, which is shoot everything that they're fed with a consistent and acceptable level of accuracy. Lone Wolf sets the baseline, and it goes up from there, with Bar-Sto and KKM dueling for top honors and Storm Lake being the middle option.
