    Default m&p triggers

I recently bought a full size m&p 45. I'd like to swap out the trigger for something better.

My problem arose when I started researching what to buy. There's multiple kits with long acronyms for names, some pictured and priced as full kits, some just a trigger and spring. I'm not sure what to buy.

I want as simple a fix as I can get. I don't know if I need a whole kit with sear this and trigger block that, or something simpler and more straightforward.

Has anyone made a similar swap? What did you buy? I want to make one order and one breakdown/swap and be done with it.

    Any advice is much appreciated.

I guess the first question would be, what don't you like about the current trigger that you want changed?

Apex is the go to company for m&p trigger upgrades. I don't know about the 45s, but for 9s they offer ~5# and ~3.5# trigger options.

I bought an Apex Tactical Competition action enhancement kit. I installed it myself using a hammer, punch, and youtube. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. It made a big difference, and I like the trigger pull now. I think I might replace the trigger itself with one of their "Glock-like" triggers.
