    Default Savage B-mag

I am thinking about getting a Savage B-mag rifle. Ive heard mixed reviews on this rifle. Some say it shoots great out to 200 + yrds and others say the stock is a poor fit and they dont group well. Any one have one and what you think about it.

I don't own one so I can't testify to performance at the range but I've sold quite a few. Overall it doesn't impress me at all. Most I've seen have had a pretty bad stock fit. Stock is cheap and flimsy.. most of the time the front of the stock will be touching the barrel on one side and has a huge gap on the other.. looks warped. Another problem is mounting a scope on it.. the bolt handle comes up very high when cycling the action and requires high or extra high rings to get the scope high enough to clear the eyepiece of the scope. Just a few short observations for what they're worth.
