Default Unexpected benefit when carrying on motorcycle.

Motorcycle is my primary mode of transportation.

After doing quite a bit of research into the laws and other people's encounters; or lack of; while "openly" carrying while riding.
I decided to give it a try.
Started late last Fall. Only got a couple joy rides in before the snow started.
Then began once again in mid March.

Over the years of adding various items to my riding gear; hi-viz helmet, class 2 safety vest, hi-viz aerostich roadcrafter suit.
I noticed with the addition of each item. Car drivers would violate my right-of-way a little less.

Now with the addition of an openly carried revolver on my hip. I've noticed an unexpected benefit.
Car drivers are giving me A LOT more room on the roadways.
Especially out of state cars with NJ plates.

I just wish my job was in PA and not NJ. So I could carry during most of my riding; ie commuting.

    1. So much for being a dedicated, hard-core biker.

    2. Mid-March? Here is mid-April and we've got snow on the ground, again.

I have an MG-42 mounted on mine. It gives you a bit of an edge.
