fri supreme court decides to hear nj shall issue case (or not)

I hope that if states are forced to honor gay marriage licenses from other states, my lctf will also be honored in the same way. I hope they argue this point in the now and future.

Better chance than in the past but lately SCOTUS has resisted these for some reason.

i believe they resisted because there was no split among the courts, why get involved if you dont have to, or why get involved if all the courts agree on the subject, but now with the three pro 2nd rulings from the 9th there is a huge circuit split, scotus is now almost forced to hear a case, it may not be drake but it can be one of the many from the 9th

plus we havent heard any news about an en banc being granted for any of the rulings coming from the 9th, my guess is theyre waiting to see if drake is going to be heard, if it is theyll put a hold on those cases and if its not heard theyll probably grant one of the cases a rehearing en banc

I agree, but we know they won't let go of control totally, so as licenses/permits go, $20 in a shall issue state isn't bad.

Don't forget the 7th in Illinois as well. Even though this is now moot as Illinois finally began issuing it still stands a a split in our favor

Until they decide you're not "qualified" to carry. $20, free, whatever....once it's controlled by the state they can take it from you.

But yes, compared to most states it's pretty good.
