I've been to Duke's a few times, good selection of guns; decent prices from what I have seen. But I agree, their ammo prices are high.

I agree that the selection is good, I think they are a little high on prices though. Then again, what shop isn't anymore?

Picked up a CAI C39 AK at Dukes the other day. The price was more than fair when compared to internet prices... They were willing to haggle on the price which I liked. Their ammo prices are high compared to others but Pat was a good guy to deal with.

Re: Duke's , New Castle
Great shop. Stopped in three or four times before I bought a Beretta 92, and they were very helpful. No pressure, lots of info. Price was best in the area. I would definitely buy from them again.

I've dealt with Duke since the early '60s; as a long time customer I no problems with their price

Re: Duke's , New Castle
They returned an email I sent asking about a gun within hours of me sending it. That alone is shocking in an awesome way. I'll make the trip up there just because of that.
It has to start someplace... It has to start sometime...

Re: Duke's , New Castle
Dukes is a great place to buy firearms.
Wes had seen me in their a few times handling a Kimber 1911 while doing other shopping and one day finally came over and brought up the fact I had held it a few times. I laughed and said it was nice, but a bit out of my price range at this point (college student).
He said, "I'll let you take it for $1,020 out the door." I couldn't pass on that. I didn't initiate haggling, or even suggest it was on my mind. That price beat Bud's Gun Shop by over $150 at the time.
I am always suggesting people check out Duke's. They are a stand up crew.
