Default what happened to the quick links option?

I just hooked up a new 8.1 PC and now I can't find the Quick Links tab?
Is it gone? How does a one go back and find threads recently posted to?

    It's not gone.

    This should be in "Support/Suggestions".

Although I prefer the New Posts link myself the Quick Links are right where they've always been.

    8.1 I'm guessing you mean Windows 8.1? I'm using 7 Pro.

I had the same thing happen on my Windows Tablet, it's pretty annoying. Instead of getting

User CP FAQ Members List Calendar New Posts Quick Links Logout

    you get

User CP FAQ Members List Calendar Search New Posts Mark Forums Read Open Contacts Popup Logout

    across the links on top.

It's annoying and take a while to get use to cause I kept clicking "Mark Forums Read" which was right about where "New Posts" was on my other computers. Everytime I hit that it cleared out all the recent posts from my new topics page.

If you accidently hit "Mark forums read" and want to see all the posts, go to the "New Posts" link and click on "here" where it says "You may search for threads updated during the previous 24 hours, here."

If you want to see posts you recently commented on, go to User CP and they should be there.

Not sure if this is what you are asking, but hope it helps.

Was/is that because your tablet reverts to "mobile mode" where space is at a premium? I hate mobile mode, even when using my smartphone I stick with the full version.

I'm not sure why but it's not in mobile mode. It actually adds categories and takes up more space. It takes away "quick links" and adds "Mark Forums Read" and Open Contacts Popup". I do not like it and actually do most of my time on this forum from my phone now.

Of all the things I've ever lost, I miss my mind the most.
