Arrow Idaho legislation nullifies all future federal gun laws

If today was April 1, I would have thought this a very bad joke given how routinely legislatures in many states chip, chip, chip away at Constitutional rights.

But it seems Idaho is one of those states that got it right.

Under the anti-commandeering doctrine, they sent a strong message to the folks in DC:

"Nullification isn't a left vs. right issue. It destroys the fallacy of the left right paradigm and is the remedy for all unconstitutional laws."

47 states to go, although I got a feeling if everyone started getting on board with this, 3 states would stay swimming in the same 'ol cesspool.

I like how there were no (zero, none, null, 0, nothing) discenting votes.

Why can't Corbett do this for us? Why wouldn't every state do this? Why would a state want the feds overriding state laws? Just trying to understand is all.

I just love how those "nullification" laws are trumped by the Supremacy Clause of the US Constitution and are a waste of time and money pushing through state legislatures. [note the sarcasm]

Hey, heh...not at all. Just think how many people wouldn't have a job if those didn't have to undo what those shouldn't have done in the first place.
