i have been thinking about getting some 80% lower but i have to get them at least 50 at a time.

if there was interest in a group buy i might be able to make it happen.

Sorry to throw the thread off track a little bit I am curious as to why people would even consider 80% lowers?
The ones iv seen are usually $60-$100 (including the ones in the link above)
but u can buy new complete forged non blem lowers from $49- and up so why get something incomplete that needs machine work to be properly finished?

Is there some advantage i'm missing?

The whole do it yourself thing. People are proud of making things with their hands. So that is what your missing. Accomplishment.

    The cost of FFL transfer.

In all honesty an 80% lower is not near as cost effective as just buying a finished lower. Especially if you do it right and send the finished 80% off for hard anodizing like I do.

What the 80% gives you is a clean slate with no roll marks, engraving and other crap. Make it how you want, flare the magwell more, make some changes as you like. I want to pick up some raw forgings sometime and do all the machine work myself.(and make tight takedown pin holes) Its a hobby.

Yeah 'cause there's no value in owning a lower that has no serial number and is not associated with your name on any .GOV paperwork..

They don't exist. That is good enough reason in this political climate.
    Some people just plain suck.
