I want another 870!

Does anyone else have a preference? One-piece magazine with +1 extension or 4-round tube with custom +3? I think the normal length tube looks better with the extension.

I have never seen the "one piece tube" before. Personally I like the fact that you can add an extension on ANY 870 in just a couple minutes vs a barrel + mag tube change (for instance like the 500)

Not sure what your question is, really. I guess you don't have that 870 anymore and want another? For home defense I would go pick up a used 870P and customize as you see fit.

The question is which style magazine tube others prefer. I don't think I like the one piece tube.

Just asking. Did not Remington add a little "hump" to the inside of the magazine tube on there hunting/sportsman type shotguns to prevent adding a magazine extension?

makes the mag spring/follower get held up so rounds dont feed appropriately. can be drilled out or brownells has a device that can be placed in the tube to straighten out the "humps"
