    Default New Walther CCP

Just got a email today about the new CCP Walther. It has an interesting gas system in it. Check it out.

Looks like a mini single stack PPQ... If it shoots like the PPQ, sign me up!

That's what I thought too! LOL... A PPQ is on my short list.

This CCP sure looks like it will be another nice option in the single stack, 9mm CC category. It is bigger then my Kahrs so I don't think its for me but ???

Thanks for sharing! I own two PPQ M1 models, and a PPS. I like Walther, but wish they still made the versions with the paddle style mag release. I am one of the odd balls that prefer that over a traditional thumb release.

I am intrigued.. I also wonder if it has the same trigger as the PPQ.

I would like to see Heckler and Koch do the same with their HK p30.

I'm with you, I love that mag release... The only thing that made me frown on the CCP was when I saw the traditional mag release...

+1 I'm in total agreement. Walther does make a fine pistol, and this one looks good. I'd easily be talked into one. I do wish it had the paddle mag release as earlier stated, and maybe a safety that had a bit more real estate. Just my preferences.

Yeah I dont get why walther abandoned the paddle mag release on all their new offerings. I for one will never entertain any walther without the paddle release.

It's a nice looking gun, but the non-ambidextrous manual safety kills it for me (same reason I don't own a Shield). As a lefty, a non-ambi safety is a dealbreaker on a carry gun. Why companies insist on putting these tiny-ass manual safeties on carry guns I will never understand.

I'll keep being happy with my Walther PPS.

The width only decreased about .2" from the PPQ, but I suppose they wanted to keep the grip feel very similar to the PPQ.

So this is still a striker fired gun, but with a thumb safety instead of a trigger safety?
