My LTCF expires soon and I'm most likely going to be able to renew in time.

However, I do have some health issues that make it difficult for me to drive to Westchester, I'm in Phoenixville, does the grace period still exist?

Difficult to drive? Or difficult to travel? If you need a driver in order to make the trip just let me know.
I'm retired and I have a fair amount of free time on my hands.

EDIT: If you send me a PM, I'll get an email within minutes.

That's extremely generous, but unfortunately it's both. Sitting for a period of time is painful even using a 6" foam donut that I made and driving just exasperates it.

    I'll PM you as well.

Very noble of you Curmudgeon but there are many members way closer to Phoenixville than York County. I moved from Phoenixville area a few months ago and would have gladly hooked you up with a ride to WC. I think somebody near you would be glad to help. C'mon guys.

Thank you all for your offers and help!

I have someone to go with me in case I cannot do the whole drive myself. The problem is sitting in general. In case my ride has to takeover, I either have to kneel in the back seats sideways or lie down with the seats folded down flat.

I know I said earlier that I have a 6" thick foam donut in order to drive and people may think it's hemorrhoids. This may be the first time in mankind for a person to utter the words, but I wish it was hemorrhoids!

I was pretty certain there was a grace period just in case I didn't get there in time. I knew with the people here and all of their knowledge that I would get an answer one way or the other.

Again, thanks to everyone for their knowledge and offers.

    Shawn

Technically, there is no "grace period", but there is an enumerated "exception" to the usual licensing requirement that is generally called such.

The exception can be found in 18 Pa C.S. §6106 (b)(12):

    https://www.legis.state.pa.us/WU01/L...1.006.000..HTM
    (12) A person who has a lawfully issued license to carry a firearm pursuant to section 6109 (relating to licenses) and that said license expired within six months prior to the date of arrest and that the individual is otherwise eligible for renewal of the license.
Having the expired LTCF to prove the time frame is an important detail, as is still being legally qualified, which may potentially require being inconvenienced while that's confirmed. It's not as simple as saying "I'm in the grace period".
