Lower Receiver Group Buy
Hi all,
I have a contact at the Range Tool company that said they may be interested in doing a group buy for lower receivers and bolt carrier groups. They are a relatively small shop buy do produce quality parts. I've bought 3 uppers and a lower from them, all of which were on par with or better than all the major name brands. If not interested in the RT brand, they do carry Spikes, umbrella, and aero precision. Post if you're interested! Lowers go for as little as $65 so we may be able to get these for cheap!

If the price is very good I would be interested in both.

I've seen uppers on sale on their website for $40 and lowers for $50 so I expect it to be around there maybe less.

Re: Lower Receiver Group Buy
Are their lowers made in PA? Either way I'm on board for a $65 Aero lower. I've heard mixed review about Aero and want to see for my self.

I think I found it:http://www.ar15brick.com/
To the OP, do you have a rough idea what they'll charge for each lower? If they'll sell all three brands for $65 I might pick up more then one.

Re: Lower Receiver Group Buy
I've talked to the sales rep and they are more than happy to work with us. They want to know a rough quantity before they price everything out. I'll try and see if we can get a price range. Just as a note, I've bought both their upper and lower (both stripped) and they are better quality than aero. Fit is fine and finish is immaculate.

Re: Lower Receiver Group Buy
I will assume that the price for the RT lower will be between the retail price of $65 and the blem price of $50. And that the BCG (looked really nice, I will say) will cost about the bulk-discounted price of $80 each. In that case, I would definitely be interested in at least 2 lowers and 2 BCGs. If they offer better prices -- lowers in the low $50s or the BCG in the mid- to low- $70 then I probably would go for 1 ,2 ,or even 3 more.
For the sake of discussion (so you get a concrete number when negotiating with your contact), let's I'd be interested in 2 each of the lowers and the BCGs. Thanks.
