Default Conversion barrel for my Glock, why not?

I bought a Lone Wolf 40-9 conv barrel for my gen3 G23 a few weeks back, just for the hell of it as I reload and soaring ammo prices don't really affect me. Worked good, no issues. Accuracy was so-so. I traded a member for a gen2 G23 last week. Took it to the range and found accuracy to be fair with majority landing left. Today I dropped the conv barrel in it and accuracy was very good, much better than in the gen3. I also found I can use the 40s&w mags for 9mm without issue. I heard some neg comments in a thread awhile back and was curious, why not? Am I missing something? I feel like I have 2 Glocks here, a G19 and a G23, am I wrong?

I bought one for the heck of it as well. It works flawlessly. I agree two glocks in one. I would also like to buy a 357 barrel as well. I believe you can just toss in a stock glock barrel and it will work. Why not? It just makes for more fun.

I run a .40 conversion for my G20, never had any issues. I can't think of any reason not to get one, lol.

Ditto here, I have a 9mm for my G27 and it works great. 9mm is a lot easier and less expensive to practice with as a bonus.

I just picked up a storm lake 40-9 conversion barrel on sale for $120 for my gen 4 g22 and I only put about 100 rounds thru and it so far so good. I did get 9mm mags and extractor but so far I didn't need to use the extractor and only took one piece of brass to the face.

I picked up a Bar Sto conv. bbl for my G35 several years ago and it's very accurate. No issues, even with Russian steel 9mm.
