Carry in a Convention Center?

I am going to a conference/trade show at the Indiana Convention Center (Indianapolis, IN). I have a FL & PA CC permit, so am OK to carry in OH & IN. However, do most convention centers prohibit CC? Do most hotels have safes that I could lock up my pistol if I could not carry in the convention center, or are these safes not safe?

Most hotels/motels have some sort of safe in the room, ussualy in the closet. Most are an electronic keypad type with instructions on how to set the combo. Should be as secure as any other small home/office safe.

As for convention centers...
I carry every time I go to Pittsburgh's for the Home show, Auto show, etc. but that's all open to the public.

Also, I work in the convention industry. Was at Indy's convention center last year for a trade show. While I can't carry at work, I took no notice of any metal detectors at any of the entrances. Nor were they wanding people. And there were no signs posted - at least that I noticed, anyway.

Check the convention hall's website for a policy. But also, check to see who the show management company is, and if they have a stated policy. You can go to four different shows at the same hall, all run by different organizations with their own policies.
