I saw that and while it is quite nice I would rather have one in a 5 inch platform. I have owned several 10 mm glocks and at this point I have one 1911 in 357 sig and a bunch in 45 acp . I have been looking at 10mm EAA stock one and two pistols ,but I think I would rather have a 10 mm in the 1911 platform. The Dan Wesson 10 mm 1911 is very nice ,but the price is steep. I could always get another kit from Fusion firearms and build what I want for about $1400.00. The STI is nice but too long for me.

You know what I did not look at the picture long enough it is a five problem solved -what is the price tag on that bad boy? Just checked the other link you posted -$1500 is not bad for a nice STI. I think I have to find some spare money so I can add that one to my inventory so I can try it out, I have plenty of 10 mm ammo just no pistol right now. About the only thing I don't like is the grips for practical shooting I would put some VZ grips on it. Very nice looking pistol though.

If I wanted to go on the cheap end I could get the Rock Island Tactical For about $600.00. I got rid of my Glock 20 -just not a fan of the glock trigger system - I like 1911 style triggers been shooting them for forty years. With that said I still own to highly custom glock 17 have no reason to part with them . I would rather have the 10 mm in a 1911 platform or in a CZ or EAA platform. Cz recently built a 10 mm CZ 97 ,but that has not gone into production yet-I would buy that in a heartbeat, I have a 97 in 45 ACP and love it. The EAA stock 1 and II series pistols have a match trigger system that I like, but the frames are a tad large for me. I bought my son the Match 9mm EAA pistol which everyone in the family enjoys shooting. The 1911 is just the best fit for my hand size so I think that's the direction that I will take with my next 10mm plus the weight of a 1911 just reduces felt recoil substantially over a poly handgun.
