    Default Full auto weapons

I have a question. Are fully auto weapons legal to own as a civilian in PA? I remember reading somewhere it was legal. If so what process do you have to go through to get one?

Yes, and there is a class 3 discussion forum here. If you are in law enforcement please read about class 3 weapons so law abiding gun owners don't get hasseled.

    Yes, it's legal.

This link will explain the process involved:

I hope you have $5K-$20K laying around, can mortgage the house, or just planted some money trees - because transferable machine guns are expensive.

    The terminology can be confusing.

The National Firearms Act ("NFA") regulates machine guns ("MG's"), as well as other things. So you'll see the term "NFA weapons" used.

Federal Firearms Licensees ("FFL's") sell guns. Only those FFL's who are Class III can deal in MG's, so a lot of folks mistakenly refer to MG's as "Class III weapons".

The NFA statutes were incorporated into the 1968 Gun Control Act as Title II; Title I covered non-NFA weapons. So MG's are also correctly called "Title II weapons".

I'd be happy if I could afford to feed one, let alone buy one.
