HUNTING

Hello all I am a recent NY'er transplanted in the pike area. My father and I are looking to lease some property or join a hunting club near the area. If anyone knows of any property to lease or private hunting clubs open for membership please let me know. thanks

Promised Land sportsman is a great club BUT we do not have any land to hunt on. We do all our events on game lands that are open to the public.

your youth pheasant hunt is on state forest land.

where is the youth hunt going to be when DCNR clears that spot and fences it in?

Not sure what the club will decide to do. I havent heard that the DCNR will be fencing that area in, but thanks for the heads up. Have you ever been to one of our youth hunts? I think we do a good job with 50 kids. Alot of positive responsive from the parents as well.

I've been to a few of the Youth Hunts,I've also been a member of Promised Land Club for 5 years.

I used to do a HTE course for the club and than I got John S.and a few other guys certfied to be HTE instructors.

They do a gran job having at least 2-3 HTE classes a year.
